Drupal SEO Fundamentals

Drupal is arguably the best site framework for easily implementing effective Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies.

In this session, I will demonstrate how to use core modules, as well as a selection of contrib modules, to jump-start your SEO campaign.

New contrib module

I have been working on an additional contrib Drupal SEO module that I have just submitted to drupal.org and is awaiting approval. I am open to adding new features based on everyone's feedback. Right now it has a few reports and some configuration for managing your nodewords, nodewords_bypath, and page_title content.

Afternoon

Based on the grayed out areas in the schedule, it looks like the only spots open are in the afternoon along side 3 other sessions happening at the same time. This is a shame since there are already plenty of good sessions in those time slots. Of course, there are good ones in the morning too (but at least there are less of them)... I wish I could clone myself!

Scheduling

I don't know who does the scheduling but they have their work cut out for them! I imagine that many people would be interested in a SEO talk. They really need to have it go 2 days and then we could see lots more stuff!
