Warner Bros. Records has been using Drupal to power all online efforts for over two years. In that time, we have taken Drupal from being a mere Open Source Application Framework to being a Web Platform that rivals systems costing hundreds and thousands of times more.

Drupal is now the root of technology within our company, helping us to break acts, make records, create great experiences for fans, and innovate.

In this session, I'll present some of the technical challenges we've faced along the way, including:

• Deploying a multisite setup using a shared code-base with multiple cores and versions.
• Establishing best practices for development workflow.
• Performing database synchronizations between Dev and Prod sites.
• Performance and optimization issues.
• Aggregating data across multiple sites.

Despite the big name, the WBR Tech team is quite small (just 6 of us!) and we operate much like a startup. Come see what the fun is about!
